2021 Annual Review
Happy Holidays family and friends! As 2021 is wrapping up, and we begin to prepare for all the Lord is doing in 2022 we wanted to give you an update. Our team is gearing up for our first mission trip back to Nicaragua since the beginning of the Covid 19 Pandemic.
2020 and 2021 have been very hard year for international mission work due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We led our last trip to Nicaragua in March of 2020 and then felt is was wisdom to cancel all remaining trips until things settled down. It has been hard to know when it would be a safe time to resume trips overseas.
Although we have not been able to travel abroad, in the past almost 2 years we have tried to support our Nicaraguan partners through fundraising for the ministry they continue to do on the ground. They are in great need of teams, and finances to continue to run their feeding programs, medical clinics and reach people with the love and power of Jesus.
Our Nicaraguan partners are On Eagles Wings Ministry and they feed well over 6,000 children through local feeding programs everyday. The last couple years have been vey hard for them, because almost all international travel was canceled in and out of Nicaragua for missions.
We are so excited to announce that we will be resuming missions trips to Nicaragua in March of 2022!!! We hope you can join us.
The Radiant Initiative was launched in 2020, and it has taken on many new forms since it’s birth. With so many mission trips being canceled, and the world shutting down The Radiant Initiative didn’t want to loose its momentum in all the Lord was using them to reach and impact people. Brittney and McKenzie launched a podcast called Rising Radiant . We have reached countless people through this platform, and it has been incredible to see all the Lord has done!
The Radiant Initiative is an international missions organization that exists to educate, equip, and empower the underserved in emergent countries to transcend economic, personal, and spiritual hardship by facilitating dynamic partnerships between target community leaders and philanthropic leaders.
This 501 c(3) nonprofit will also include local discipleship group, mission trips around the world, a podcast, and will serve as booking agency for organizations and local churches to engage in missions in a sustainable and meaningful ways. We are expectant to see all that is to come in the coming year.
